

German scientists travel to Iraq frequently to speak at universities, take part in conferences or establish contacs with their Iraqi colleagues. In "Travel Notes" they reveal their experiences.

Electrical Engineers from the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences went to Iraqi Kurdistan in order to promote renewable energy.



In June 2011 several specialists on architecture and urban and regional planning from Cottbus, Dortmund and Berlin organised a training workshop for young professionals in Sulaimaniyah.



Prof. Michael Fremerey, Senior Consultant of “UNISTAFF Associates”, visited Kurdish Universities in Iraq from November 15-22, 2011, in order to help improving university leadership issues there.
